5 Tips to Free Up Internal Space on Your Android Phone/Tablet

Basically, Android Phone or Tablet users will store their photos, videos, files, etc., on the phone Internal memory. Most of the users facing a serious problem that the Internal memory of the phone are getting full. This means that the internal memory provided with the phone was filled up with the data and no more space in it.

This cause the phone or tablet to malfunction and the applications may not work properly. The only solution to avoid the phone from malfunctioning is to free up the Internal space of the Android Phone or Tablet. The internal memory consists of various function files related to the applications running on the device. So here I am going to list some tips to free up the Internal space on your Android Phone or Tablet.

Tips to Free Up the Internal Space on Android:

1. Uninstall Unwanted Apps:

Android users prefer to install many interesting apps on their phone to enjoy more features provided on the Android versions. There will be some unused or any unwanted apps present on your device, which will occupy the internal storage. If your device had any unused apps for the longest time or any unwanted apps, then you have to uninstall the unnecessary apps. This must be done to decrease the internal space and to increase the phone’s performance. This helps the phone to increase the processing speed and the performance. To uninstall the unnecessary apps or games, go to Settings -> Apps or Application Manager.

2. Clear App Cache and Junk Files:

Cache is nothing but the temporary files which will be stored on the device in order to reopen the apps quickly without any delay. The cache helps to start the apps quickly with the help of the temporary files stored in it. App cache can be cleared by both manually and by using the app. To clear the cache by manually, Go to Settings -> Application Manager and find the apps which are consuming more spaces and tap on “clear cache”. It can also be cleared by using a third party software which were available on the official Google Play Store. The third party software used to clear the app cache and the junk files present on your device.

3. Remove Unnecessary Files and Folders:

Some unwanted files and folders present in the internal memory occupies most of the memory, which filled up the memory. Most of the Android users leave the downloaded files on the internal memory of the device. This cause that no memory is available for next downloads, which can be solved by deleting the unwanted files and folders present in the internal memory. It can be done by both manually or by using a third party software. If users regularly delete the unwanted files and folders present on the internal memory, then the device performance will be better.

4. Upload Your Photos to Cloud Storage:

Most of the Android users are in crazy of taking photos for making sweet memories. Basically Android phone or Tablet comes up with high resolution and clarity for capturing photos and recording videos. These photos will consume more memory, so the user can upload the photos taken with the device camera to the cloud storage to avoid the internal space getting full. It was done by taking auto backup of the photos which will get connected with the user google account. It will be stored safely in the cloud storage and you can view or access the photos anytime using the google account.

5. Move the Media Files and Apps to SD Card:

Moving Apps and Media Files can help to free up the space on the internal memory and it also helps to increase the device performance. This can be done by a third party software, which will be available on the official Google Play Store. An important note is that, some apps cannot be moved to SD Card which will run only on internal memory.
