1. Creating detailed Content for your product or service

It is an essential element of E-commerce. How many times have you searched on any search engine about a specific product or service before purchasing? All the time, I’m sure. Content Marketing involves publishing your blog post, describing what your product or service does and doesn’t do.

It involves posting reviews and how to use the product or service. It also involves a detailed explanation of the pricing of different plans if you have them. For E-commerce, this can be compared to the customer care desk of a physical store. It is where a customer clicks first to gather more information before making a purchase.

2. Taking advantage of Social Media to boost your sales

Social media Marketing is the most effective way to get clicks or traffic to your website in the first place. Why is this, you may ask?  3.6 Billion people are using Social media in 2020, while on Facebook alone, it is  2.7Billion users. By 2025, the total number of people using Facebook is estimated to be 4.41 Billion.

Taking advantage of Facebook, there is an option of purchasing and creating a Facebook Ad. This Ad makes it easy o reach your target audience since you select your target market while creating it. If you create a very engaging Ad, it gets some users curious, and they click on your E-Commerce to learn more.

3. Email Marketing

Email marketing is one of the strategies to use to get people to come back to your store. An e-commerce owner should have in place tools to build an email list.

These include an email subscription that gives something in exchange for an email like a future discount.

A receipt tool for emails that has coupons and discounts. An email newsletter services system that captures a customer’s information upon checkout, like Mail chimp, constant contact, ConvertKit, AWeber, Drip.

4. SEO

Search Engine Optimization is a strategy that allows your e-commerce to rank on the first page of a search engine. Most people do not scroll [ast the first page of a search engine results. Most people are not even aware that there exist other pages on the search engine.

The probability of clicking on the top 5 results is usually high. To achieve search engine optimized products and services, research the keywords associated with the particular economic commodity. For example, If you sell glass water bottles, you can use one of the most used search engines like Google and search the keyword water bottle. You select one of these keywords to describe your water bottle, for example, Heat resistant Glass Water bottle.

5. Capitalize on Pay per click

It involves creating campaigns that have keywords with purchase intent but are dominated by your competitors.

When you create a campaign, you expressly set where you want it placed on google Ads.

For example, if you sell digital marketing services, you can select to place your ad on Digital Marketing searches. When your ad is clicked, you pay the amount you had set for each click.

6. Work on Lead Quality instead of lead Quantity

Lead quality is achieved by lead nurturing. Lead nurturing cultivates a relationship with your subscribers even if they are not purchasing or have not purchased anything. Lead quality generates 50% more sales than lead quantity. It is achieved by establishing a target audience for high-quality commodities.

7. Create Personalized Ads

According to a customer’s previous searches, you create a personalized Ad.

For example, if a customer was  looking for a gas stove on your e-commerce, you display other offers related to a gas stove like a gas cylinder or cooking pots

8. Conversion rate optimization (CRO)

It is the process of testing elements on your site to see which are the most effective in getting your visitors to convert. To improve your site for possible conversions, you can test your website layout, from how the pages are layered out to the calls to action you use.

It is no secret that technology has led to many businesses shifting to e-commerce. It is easy to reach many customers from different parts of the world, but it creates a place where you can see what your customers want to purchase.

There are digital agencies that offer all these services at a fee like Webfx, SmartSites, Mayple, DashClicks, and WebiMax

The above tips help boost sales but to have continuous sales and referrals. It is crucial always to sell high-quality commodities and offer helpful and courteous Customer service.
